The data and statistics show children and their families are in need of more behavioral health support from the community. At this time there is a gap in fulfilling those services. This was true prior to the pandemic. As society attempts to live in the “new normal,” as we continue to navigate through the pandemic, the data and statistics regarding children and their families are still the same.

The need to reach them, particularly single-parent led homes is ever more urgent due to many of them experiencing, in a two year period the impacts of the pandemic which includes: job loss, death of a loved one, isolation due to social distancing restrictions which impacts the need for social and emotional relationships, inconsistency of schools being opened and closed during times of quarantine and many other unnamed personal issues and stressors.

Through the Aware Campaign, RRCG will use the donations we receive to open two offices to begin the work to provide adequate care for the holistic needs of children and their families. Our goal is to raise enough money so we can do a welfare check on single-parent led homes.

As an organization Raise & Revive Community Garden (RRCG) is committed to being the answer to the need. We're saying, "We've heard the information. We see the need. We are "aware" of the mental health needs of our community. Now we're doing something about it."
