Why We’re Partnering with Helping Hands for Single Moms
Helping Hands for Single Moms supports low-income single mothers as they pursue post-secondary education, financial independence, and a positive family legacy. Their program provides practical support to help mothers remain in school while caring for their children, including assistance with financial needs, transportation, healthcare, mentoring, and holiday gifts.

Through A Community Touch Christmas, Raise and Revive Community Garden is honored to partner with Helping Hands for Single Moms to help make the Christmas season a little brighter for these mothers and their children. Rather than creating a separate program, Community Touch seeks to come alongside organizations already serving families in our community and help strengthen the work they are doing.

By donating a new, unwrapped toy or becoming a toy collection site, community members are helping us surround these families with encouragement, generosity, and care during the Christmas season.

Community Touch is an initiative of
Raise and Revive Community Garden that brings people, businesses, and organizations together to support one another through events and community partnerships that meet the needs of underserved individuals and families.
Donate a Toy
New, unwrapped, toys will be donated to children of single mothers who are served by Helping Hands for Single Moms.
Please consider purchasing gifts for teens such as small electronic & tech accessories, room & phone decor, cosmetics, cozy wear, athletic gear, DIY crafts, art & writing, gift cards (concealed in an envelope or wrapped in a gift box).Â
Spread the Word
Share our toy drive with friends, family, and colleagues to help us supply Christmas gifts for more children. Â
We seek 10 local businesses to partner with our Community Touch Initiative to bring joy to families served by Helping Hands for Single Moms this Christmas.
As a Toy Collection Site, your business will host a Community Touch donation box for new, unwrapped toys.
